Unannounced game preview

I <3 Capy

Here's a little poster I sent to the awesome peeps at Capy Games, makers of Clash of Heroes, Critter Crunch, Sword & Sworcery (with SuperBrothers) and Super Time Force. I also included pics from their epic Capy Jam 3, although I haven't played any of those games, I'm pretty sure they're awesome.

This week’s issue showcases a whopping sixteen new games in development, in all genres and styles. Catching up on the craziness I missed in the past couple weeks, I’ve been through a lot of emotions. I was amazed by the gloomy environment art of Aliceffekt’s iOS adventure gameHiversaires, intrigued by Red Rover‘s mysterious screenshots of looming space stations, excited by the thought of becoming a jousting knight inPixelry… and strangely aroused by the pixelated sexual content of minimalist pulp adventure game After the Comet.
Also, the 16-bit style action adventure game Anodyne has finally been released – check out its 32 page long forum thread to know everything about its development, from early concept art to completion.

GGJ13 - The Seer and the Worm

I participated in the Global Game Jam 201 with Les Collégiennes (Fract's Henk Boom, Fez's Renaud Bédard, and the superstar that is Aliceffekt) - the resulting game is The Seer and the Worm (not sure about the title yet!), a weird psychedelic game inspired by Afterburner. The player switches between controlling the flying dog in a vision and grabbing captive monks during real-time. It's a little weird and crazy!
The game is not complete yet - one of the game's features was not totally working after the jam, so we will finish up... someday! Meanwhile, here's a bunch of strange screenshots!

Without Question - Card Art Preview

Here's a little preview of a card game I'm making with game designer extraordinaire Damian Sommer!
Indie Speed Run results!
The Indie Speed Run game jam results are in - Alphanauts goes home with the Sore Fingers award for its intense gameplay! Yay!
We're also a runner-up in the Burchatta award, which I'm guessing is just games the ISR organizers enjoyed the most! Thanks guys!
